About Me.

I’ve been a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor for 6 years now. I’ve worked with 100s of clients in both private and corporate settings. My aim is always to take the confusion and the noise out of fitness. To strip things back to the basics and inspire a love of movement without all the stereotypical nonsense that tends to come with this industry. I adore helping people become the strongest and fittest versions of themselves, focusing on enjoyment of movement and discovering what your body can truly do!

My journey with fitness and Yoga.

I’ve always been pretty active. Growing up you’d usually find me playing sports, riding horses, or on some sort of outdoor adventure. But i suppose you could say my proper ‘fitness journey’ started with yoga. After some personal trauma, I turned to the practice as a way to release stress but ended up finding so much more! A love of the gym shortly followed. I became obsessed with the empowerment and confidence that came from a focus on strength training. I qualified as a personal trainer and fitness instructor from The National Training Centre, this was followed by extra qualifications in Pre and Post Natal Exercise, Exercise in the Older Adult and Nutrition. Most recently, I was delighted to qualify as a 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher.

Why I started Paredback Fitness.

The fitness industry is saturated with misinformation and can often be quite a toxic and intimidating space. When I started Pared Back Fitness, I was determined to get rid of all the nonsense and create a supportive and simple environment for people to focus on their health and wellbeing.

My goal is to take the focus away from aesthetics and quick fixes. I don’t believe in fad diets, crazy restrictions or using exercise to punish your body! Instead, we focus on nourishing our bodies by creating a healthy, balanced lifestyle that you can sustain longterm. We accept that everyone is built differently and therefore we must work with our bodies to create strength, fitness and overall confidence in ourselves!

I offer online training including 1-1 PT, bootcamps, yoga and pilates for all levels.

I specialise in offering a rounded approach which takes your lifestyle, experience and time into consideration.
